Good News
- The government statement yesterday from Boris Johnson is very encouraging for bowls.
- We should be able to open the green at a normal time around the end of April. At the very least we will be able to start club internal competitions and drives although numbers may be limited to start with.
- The position with leagues is still not clear at this time.
- It will now be full steam ahead with preparation of the green and we could do with a few strong volunteers to take turns helping with the weekly spiking/ rolling of the green, usually done on Monday mornings. The more people we get, the less times you will need to help so get those names rolling (pun intendedš) in.
- Hopefully things should become much clearer in the next couple of weeks 2 and we will contact all members then regarding payment of fees and what competitions they are entered into.
